This was one of the ways for the villagers, during the 483 years of Ottoman domination, to confront the robbers that plagued the region in difficult times. They were taking hostages and demanding ransom!
That’s why all the mansions had loopholes, secret passages and double-barred doors. In respect to this relationship is the name of the room, a room that has now been turned into a stylish space with two windows facing a picturesque alley.

Not the size of the other rooms, but the captivating organization makes it pretty cool! The double iron bed still has the tag ‘made in Birmingham’. The two windows overlook the picturesque flower filled courtyard of the Guesthouse.
